I went to Heian Jingu in Kyoto city last November, and then took the photo. I went to there becouse This day held Gakusei Saiten, and It’s very interesting.
Also, next April 11th , hold ‘Kyoto city half marathon’. I’m going to taka part in the marathon, so I’m looking forwerd to running.

Is this the first marathon you’ve run? I’m impressed by anyone who runs a marathon.

I was told that is the largest Shinto gate in all of Japan. Is that true?
I once saw a Noh performance at the main entrance gate of the Heian Shrine under a full moon. It was spectacular. You can barely see the entrance gate in the background of the photo above.
